Hand cut, shaped and polished, then hand painted, this wooden pendant is sustainable, unique, lightweight and extremely wearable.  It would make a great gift for someone, or just a treat for yourself. A reminder of a summer holiday, or a place that is special to you. 
 
DETAILS 
- You can choose either sterling silver, or gold plated chain.
- There are options to choose the chain length - either 40, 50 or 60cm. 
- The painted wood is approximately 60mm square.
- The pendant comes in recycled and fully recyclable, envelope, gift box and packaging.

BIANCA ROSE WOOD
It’s good about wearing jewellery made from recycled wood.  Smaller pieces of this amazing material are so often thrown away, all of the beautiful woods in my workshop were rescued from waste of one kind or another, many from my past life as a furniture maker. Cutting and shaping each piece by hand brings a special quality to the shape and feel of the jewellery, and allows me to produce very little waste in the process.
 
amazing Walnut Veneer on a Mahogany back came to me as two panels from the doors of a 1930's wardrobe.  Otherwise broken beyond repair, these doors deserved another life and now they have many!  It is  really wonderful rich chocolatey colour, and has some lovely swirly patterns.
 
Wood by its very nature has infinite variations of pattern and tone, making each and every pendant completely unique.  Add hand painted detail and there you go, jewellery as individual as the person wearing it.
 
The greens grey and tiny flash of yellow of this design were inspired by a tiny seaside cove in the South West of England.  The kind you have to walk down crumbly steep steps to get to.  A small secluded beach with rock pools, driftwood and sandcastles.  Each pendant is painted freehand so although they follow the same design, every one is truly unique.
 
The pendant is made to a high standard, and will happily deal with a drop of rain, but please don't wear it in the shower - wood and water are not the best of friends!  Also do your best to keep it away from perfumes and cosmetics.
